POSITION SUMMARY

Programmer Analyst will review, analyze, evaluate, maintain and develop business systems and applications. Identifies opportunities and/or is directed to specific opportunities for improvements. Plans, budgets, and implements project improvements. The individual will also evaluate, support, and develop business systems/applications as well as manage projects related to same business systems/applications.

Assist in designing and implementing systems to ensure requirements are met and best policies/processes are followed. This position will be responsible for working with the business to document and make recommendations on business processes in support of automating current processes.

SKILLS & ABILITIES

Education

Bachelor's Degree (four year college or technical school) Required, Field of Study: Business Information Systems, Computer Science or related field

Experience

2 plus years of experience in Information Systems or relevant business application development experience

Computer Skills

Requires a bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience in Information Systems or a related area. Good and steady working knowledge of various business software and hardware applications/administration. Possess good oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English. Strong computer skills. Project planning and management skills desirable. High learning curve and a desire to evaluate, implement, and learn new software, hardware, programming, and general technologies. Proficiency in MS Office, T-SQL, MS SQL Server, SSRS, and VB.NET preferred. Experience in a manufacturing environment with an ERP system desired. Experience with web applications and Angular or other related web technologies a plus.

Work Environment

Work environment is mainly in an office setting with occasional work in a manufacturing environment. Physical ability to sit for extended periods, move freely throughout the facility, use of telephone and workstations.
